Sale of 10.6 carat diamond for USD103,000
BlueRock Diamonds plc, the AIM listed diamond mining company, which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa ("Kareevlei" or the "Project"), is pleased to announce that it has sold a 10.6 carat diamond for USD103,000 (USD9,751/carat), in the September tender.
This is the sixth diamond that has been sold this year at a price of in excess of USD50,000 realising a total sale price of USD600,000 for these six stones.
The full tender results and production numbers for the quarter will be announced in the Q3 update, which will also include more details on costs along with updated guidance for FY2019.
