Sale of Three Large Gem Quality Stones
BlueRock Diamonds PLC, the AIM listed diamond producer, which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine ('Kareevlei') in the Kimberley region of South Africa, is pleased to announce, in accordance with its announcement policy, the sale of the three recently recovered gem quality stones of 8.4 carats, 10.6 carats and 9.7 carats. The stones were sold for USD88,000, USD73,000 and USD53,000 respectively.
BlueRock Executive Chairman, Mike Houston, said, "I am very pleased to announce the sale of the three large gem quality stones recovered in mid-March for an aggregate USD214,000. The sale of these three high value stones also follows the sale of a 14.8 carat stone for USD170,000 in January. I look forward to updating the market in our quarterly report, which will be released next month."
