Appointment of Chief Executive Designate
Bodycote International Plc announces that John Hubbard has joined the board as
Group Chief Executive Designate with immediate effect.
He will become Chief Executive of the Group on 1st January 2002 at which time
John Chesworth, the current Chief Executive, will succeed Bruce Farmer as
Non-Executive Chairman. John Hubbard has been responsible for the growth of
the North American heat treatment division since 1996 when he joined Bodycote
as President of Hinderliter Heat Treating, Inc.
James Wallace, non-executive director, has been appointed Deputy Chairman of
the Group.
Biography: John Hubbard
Education: Cleveland State University, Metallurgical Engineering and MBA;
Professional Engineer.
1976 to 1996 - Hinderliter Heat Treating, Inc of Texas (President and owner
when the business was acquired in 1996 by Bodycote).
1996 to 2001 - President of Bodycote North America, Inc., responsible for heat
treatment operations in North America for the Bodycote Group.
A US citizen, born 1947, married.
