BODYCOTE INTERNATIONAL PLC
Dealings in ordinary shares by directors of the company
Bodycote International plc announces that the following
dealings in the company's 10p ordinary shares by directors
have taken place:
Chairman Dr Bruce Farmer
On 15 November 1999 Dr Farmer acquired 5,977 shares at 249p
each. Dr Farmer now holds 8,521 shares in the company.
Chief Executive John Chesworth
On 15 November 1999 Mr Chesworth transferred by way of gift
20,000 shares to each of his five children. Following the
transfers Mr Chesworth's interests comprise 626,277 shares,
registered as follows:

J Chesworth Mrs E A Chesworth 493,715
In addition Mr Chesworth has 82,615 options over ordinary
shares exercisable at 258.73p between May 2000 and May 2004.
Executive director Derek Sleight
On 15 November 1999 Mr Sleight acquired 2,500 shares at 249p
each. Mr Sleight's interests now comprise 60,000 shares,
registered as follows:
