BODYCOTE AND PCC STRUCTURALS ENTER INTO NEW LONG TERM AGREEMENT

MACCLESFIELD (U.K.) - Bodycote (LSE:BOY), the world's largest thermal processing services provider, today announcesthe signing of a five year agreement with Precision Castparts Corp (PCC)Structurals, a subsidiary of worldwide metal components manufacturer, Precision Castparts Corp (NYSE:PCP).

Under the agreement, Bodycote will provide Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) and heat treatment services for investment castings from PCC's facilities in Oregon, USA.

Bodycote and PCC have a strong long-term relationship. PCC has chosen Bodycote as a reliable and experienced partner to support the growth of its aerospace and energy business.  Bodycote will provide HIP and heat treatment services through its network of plants, meeting PCC's growing needs for processing capacity, plus additional back-up capacity if needed.

HIP services play an important role in the aerospace and energy supply chains.  High integrity, precision castings from materials such as titanium,aluminium and steel alloys are HIPed to optimise their mechanical properties and improve fatigue life.  Bodycote operates the world's largest network of HIP facilities and capacity and has extensive experience and technical know-how in the field, processing engine and structural components for customers all over the world.
