San Domingo Pegmatite Project Drilling Permit Received
Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTCQB:BHLIF), the North America-focused lithium development group, announces that it has received conditional permission to begin a drilling programme (the "Programme") at its San Domingo pegmatite district in Arizona.
Highlights :
· Bradda Head has received permission to commence a 30-hole drilling programme at its San Domingo pegmatite project, pending a bond payment adjudication. Drilling is expected to commence as soon as the bond payment has been received, usually in no more than 30 days.
· Bradda's San Domingo pegmatite district was mined at surface previously in the 1940s and 1950s for lithium and other minerals. Claims were initially staked by BHL after grab samples taken by Bradda's geological team back in 2016 demonstrated the presence of lithium in spodumene in grades ranging up to 8% Li2O.
· Following on from Bradda's geological teams' fieldwork at San Domingo, including mapping, geophysics, surface sampling, and a recent 3D mapping exercise conducted by SRK (results soon to be announced), Bradda Head designed and has received permission to proceed with an initial 30-hole 7,000m drill programme at its San Domingo pegmatite district in Arizona
· Drilling will commence with a diamond drilling contractor that Bradda Head has had locked-in for some time. The drilling market in the US continues to be very tight, and having a committed drilling contractor early on is important.
· The 30-hole programme is being planned around the ongoing 3D mapping being conducted by SRK and the geophysics carried out by Terravision (See PR dated 2nd November 2021).
· A diamond drill programme will help Bradda investigate further the initial results and the potential for a large, mineralised pegmatite system.
· Previous surface sampling at named outcropping pegmatites in the San Domingo claim block returned grades of:
o Midnight Owl: 1.44% Li2O
o Joker: 0.35% Li 2 O,
o White Ridge: 2.49% Li 2 O,
o Lower Jumbo: 1.62% Li 2 O,
o Sunrise: 0.67% Li 2 O, and,
o North Morning Star: 0.92% Li 2 O
· This will be the first drill programme at the Company's San Domingo project.
Charles FitzRoy, CEO of Bradda Head Lithium, commented:
"We are delighted to have received conditional drilling permission at our San Domingo pegmatite project. The results of our previous geophysical campaign demonstrated that there is potential for the extension of pegmatite mineralisation at depth, which also aligns with previous geological modelling from the Company's geological team.
"This will be the first drill programme on our San Domingo project and is very exciting for Bradda. If a viable pegmatite deposit is identified we would be able to be put it into production in a relatively short timeframe, as pegmatite mining is very well understood and accounts for well over 50% of world lithium supply currently. Positive results from this programme would likely attract attention from larger mining companies.
" San Domingo is a key asset in Bradda's portfolio, and we look forward to commencing our drilling programme shortly and also to releasing results from SRK's mapping project showing the next steps in Bradda's programme at our pegmatite district in Arizona. Interestingly, other mineralisation types also exist on our claims at San Domingo, which the Company will be exploring further."
Background
As announced on 2 November 2021, Bradda Head Lithium received initial results from the ongoing geophysical programme being carried out by geospatial imaging contractor Terravision Exploration Ltd. ("Terravision"), at the central and southwestern sections of the Company's San Domingo pegmatite asset in Central Arizona. The results demonstrate that there is potential for the extension of pegmatite mineralisation at depth, which also aligns with previous geological modelling from the Company's geological team. The northern block of the San Domingo district was also surveyed in early 2022 and demonstrated similar results.
Recent 3D mapping conducted by SRK added to the understanding of the structure and also led Bradda to extend its drilling programme. Further drilling is now required to test and add to Bradda's knowledge of the extent of the structures underground.
Previous surface sampling at named outcropping pegmatites in the San Domingo claim block returned grades* of:
· Midnight Owl: 1.44% Li2O,
· Joker: 0.35% Li 2 O,
· White Ridge: 2.49% Li 2 O,
· Lower Jumbo: 1.62% Li 2 O,
· Sunrise: 0.67% Li 2 O, and
· North Morning Star: 0.92% Li 2 O.
* Please note that the grades referenced above supersede those reported on 2 November 2021 given the figures reported then were incorrectly stated as being Li2O when in fact they were Li figures (to which a multiple of 2.153 should be applied to get Li2O grades).
See map on website for locations of these pegmatites ( https://www.braddaheadltd.com/media/image-library/ ).
These pegmatites display a weathered appearance, and so the lithium grade at surface is likely lower than deeper where pegmatites have been less affected by the weathering processes.
Bradda has now gained conditional permission to drill a 30-hole diamond drilling campaign to investigate further the potential for a large, mineralised pegmatite system.

Notes to Editors
Bradda Head Lithium Ltd. is a North America-focused lithium development group. The Company currently has interests in a variety of projects, the most advanced of which are in Central and Western Arizona: The Basin Project (Basin East Project, and the Basin West Project) and the Wikieup Project.
The Basin East Project has an Indicated Mineral Resource of 17.6Mt at an average grade of 912ppm Li and 3.4%K for a total of 86kt LCE and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 57.6Mt at an average grade of 717ppm Li and 3.3%K for a total of 220kt LCE. In the rest of the Basin Project SRK has estimated an Exploration Target of between 300 and 1,300Mt of material grading between 600 and 850ppm Li which is equivalent to a range of between 1 and 6Mt LCE.
The Group intends to continue to develop its three phase one projects in Arizona, whilst endeavouring to unlock value at its other prospective pegmatite and brine assets in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
All of Bradda Head's licences are held on a 100% equity basis and are in close proximity to the required infrastructure.
Bradda Head is quoted on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange with the ticker of BHL and on the US OTCQB market with a ticker of BHLIF.
