New Non-Executive Director for Seascope Shipping Holdings PLC
The Board of Seascope Shipping Holdings PLC, providers of specialised broking
and consultancy services to the international shipowning, shipbuilding and oil
/ offshore industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard
Agutter as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Richard Agutter, aged 60, spent 35 years with KPMG, becoming a partner in
1977. In 1985 he formed a new division specialising in Corporate Finance. He
retired as a partner from KPMG in 1998 but remains a senior advisor there.
Sir Peter Cazalet, Chairman, commented:
'I am delighted to welcome Richard Agutter to our Board. Richard brings with
him a wealth of experience gained from establishing successful Corporate
Finance departments at KPMG, both in the UK and internationally. I am sure
that his reputation and contacts within the City of London combined with his
