Braemar Seascope Group PLC 19 January 2005 For immediate release 19 January 2005 Braemar Seascope Group plc ('the Company') Appointment of Non Executive Director The board of Braemar Seascope Group plc, today announces the appointment of David Moorhouse as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Mr. Moorhouse will also serve on the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees of the Company. Alan Marsh, Chief Executive, commented: 'I am delighted that David is joining the Company as a non-executive director. I am confident that his deep knowledge and long experience within marine-related industries will be very valuable for the Company and we look forward to his contribution.' Mr. Moorhouse, aged 57, is currently Executive Chairman of Lloyd's Register, one of the World's leading Classification Societies. Until recently Mr. Moorhouse was an advisor on technology exports to the DTI and deputy chairman of the UK's Foundation for Science and Technology. Formally he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kvaerner Process, Chairman and Chief Executive of Trafalgar, John Brown and a director of John Brown Plc.
