                 Braemar Shipping Services plc (the 'Company')
                        Purchase by Employee Share Trust


The Company has been notified that the Braemar Seascope Group PLC Employee Share
Option Plan (the 'ESOP') yesterday acquired 27,250 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of 408p per share. Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 459,045
ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping Services plc, representing 2.25 per cent. of
the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
