                        Purchase by Employee Share Trust



The Company has been notified that the Braemar Shipping Services plc Employee
Share Option Plan (the 'ESOP') acquired 45,350 ordinary shares in the Company on
16 August 2007 at a price of 382.7 pence per share.  Accordingly, the ESOP now
holds 529,395 ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping Services plc, representing
2.60 per cent. of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
