                        Purchase by Employee Share Trust


The Company has been notified that the Braemar Seascope Group PLC Employee Share
Option Plan (the 'ESOP') acquired 55,300 ordinary shares in the Company at a
price of 404p per share.  Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 386,795 ordinary
shares in Braemar Seascope Group plc, representing 1.91 per cent. of the
Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
