                        Purchase by Employee Share Trust



The Company has been notified that the Seascope Shipping Holdings Limited
Employee Share Option Plan (the 'ESOP') has today acquired 98,995 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 360p per share.  Accordingly, the ESOP now
holds 321,495 ordinary shares in Braemar Seascope Group plc, representing 1.63
per cent. of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
