         Swallowfield plc (the 'Company') Disclosure of Interest

The Company has today been informed that Jupiter Asset Management now holds
705,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing approximately 6.26 per cent.
of the issued share capital of the Company.  Jupiter Asset Management holds
these shares as an investment manager for Jupiter Global Green Investment Trust
Plc which holds 205,000 shares and Jupiter Ecology Fund which holds 500,000
shares, representing approximately  1.82 per cent and 4.44 per cent.
respectively of the issued share capital of the Company.
