Rightster announces new Chief Executive, directorate changes and appointment of new Nomad and broker

Further to the announcement of 26 October 2015, Rightster Group plc (LSE AIM: RSTR), the digital video distribution and monetisation network, is pleased to confirm the appointment of the new management team to the board, effective immediately.

Ashley MacKenzie, previously co-founder and CEO of Base79 Limited, is appointed CEO.  Richard Mansell, previously co-founder and COO of Base79 Limited, has been appointed chief operating officer.  Sir Robin Miller, formerly Chief Executive and Chairman of Emap plc, one of the UK's leading media groups, is appointed as non-executive Chairman.  Mark Cranmer, a former global executive director of Dentsu Aegis, is appointed non-executive director.

Patrick Walker, has stepped down as CEO and will continue to serve on the board as a non-executive director.  Mark Lieberman (non-executive chairman), Michael Broughton (non-executive director) and David Mathewson (non-executive director) have stepped down from the board.

Niall Dore (CFO) and Jack Barnett (non-executive director) will continue on the board in their current roles.

In addition to the above board changes, Rightster is also pleased to announce the appointment of Westhouse Securities Limited as the Company's nominated adviser and sole broker with immediate effect.

Sir Robin Miller is a director of Butler, Tanner & Dennis Limited (in liquidation) which was placed into creditors voluntary liquidation in January 2015, with an estimated deficit to creditors of approximately £1.9m.

Sir Robin Miller was a director of Entertainment Rights plc, which appointed administrators on 1 April 2009, with an estimated deficit to creditors (principally HBOS) of approximately £124.6m. Entertainment Rights plc was subsequently dissolved on 30 December 2010.

Sir Robin Miller was a director of Setanta Sport Holdings Limited, which was placed into receivership on 23 June 2009.
