On 28 November 2007, the Company granted options over British American Tobacco
p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the "Shares") to the persons discharging managerial
responsibilities listed below (together the "Participants") under the British
American Tobacco Sharesave Scheme (the "Scheme") at an option price of £14.35
per Share.
