The Company was notified on 13 November 2014 that on 10 November 2014 Mrs J Gray, a person connected with Mr A M Gray, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, sold 42,093 British American Tobacco p.l.c. shares ("the Shares") at a price of 3,600 pence per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Gray has a total beneficial and family interest in 62,289 Shares (including 25,506 Deferred Shares).
