Further to the announcement made yesterday by Aegis Group plc ("Aegis"), notification is made in accordance with LR 9.6.14 that Mr R.E. Lerwill, a Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco p.l.c., will stand down as CEO of Aegis at the end of November 2008.
