In accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.2R, The British Land Company PLC (the Company) was duly notified yesterday, by each of the following PDMRs that, on completion of the Company's 2 for 3 Rights Issue of up to 340,873,589 new ordinary shares of 25p each (New Shares) at 225 pence per New Share, which closed for acceptances on 18 March 2009, their interests in the Company's ordinary shares of 25p each are as follows:
