NO. 2 PLANTATION PLACE, LONDON EC3
BRITISH LAND SECURES IMPROVED PLANNING CONSENT
The British Land Company PLC has secured a new and enhanced planning consent for
No. 2 Plantation Place, London EC3 totalling approximately 14,422 sq m (155,242
sq ft). The second phase of the Plantation Place development will front both
Mincing Lane and Eastcheap, with a typical floor plate of 1,715 sq m (18,460 sq
ft).
The new planning consent is for some 1,191 sq m (12,820 sq ft) more
accommodation than the permission granted in February 2001, representing a 9%
uplift. It also provides for an improved configuration and enhanced entrance on
Eastcheap and increased efficiency in the office floorplate.
The building has been designed by Arup Associates and will be built concurrently
with the first phase, the 50,265 sq m (541,000 sq ft) No. 1 Plantation Place,
which is under construction following the prelet of the majority of that
building to management consultants Accenture.
The leasing agents are CB Hillier Parker and DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.
