British Smaller Technology Companies VCT 2 plc ("the Company")
Announcement in respect of holding in Cozart plc
The Company holds 5,063,026 shares in Cozart plc representing approximately 4.5%
of that company's issued share capital. Earlier today Cozart plc announced the
recommendation of a cash offer from Concateno plc at the price of 57.5 pence per
share.
This price per share represents a premium of 13.5 pence per share over the bid
price at 30 June that was incorporated within the net asset value of British
Smaller Technology Companies VCT 2 plc which was announced on 14 August 2007.
Consequently should this recommended offer have become unconditional on 30 June
2007 the effect would have been to have increased the Company's net asset value
per share from 79.7 pence per share to 83.8 pence per share, an increase of
5.1%.
