BRITISH SMALLER TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES VCT 2 PLC
("BSTC2" / the "Company")
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
This announcement is made in connection with a scheme for the reconstruction of
British Smaller Technology Companies VCT plc ("BSTC") and the acquisition of
that company's assets and liabilities ("the Scheme") by the Company, details of
which were published on 31 October 2005.
The board of directors of BSTC2 is pleased to announce that all the resolutions
proposed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on Wednesday 30
November 2005 were duly passed. It is envisaged that the assets and liabilities
of British Smaller Technology Companies VCT PLC ("BSTC") will be transferred to
the Company, and the Company will issue the consideration shares, on 8 December
2005, subject to the passing of the necessary resolutions at the extraordinary
general meeting of BSTC convened for that day.
