Board Appointment

Brooks Macdonald Group plc, the AIM quoted integrated wealth management group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Diane Seymour-Williams as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Diane, 52, is currently an executive director of Lloyd George Management, the investment manager.

Previously she spent over twenty years at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Asset Management where she held a range of senior roles, latterly as the Head of European Clients and previously as CIO/CEO of Asia ex Japan, based in Singapore.

Diane's appointment restores the balance of non-executive and executive directors, following Simon Wombwell's change of role to executive from non-executive director in February 2011.

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Knight, Chairman of Brooks Macdonald, said:

"Diane brings a wealth of experience in investment management that will prove highly beneficial to Brooks Macdonald. We are confident she will play an important role in our continuing growth."
