BROOKS MACDONALD GROUP PLC

Brooks Macdonald unveiled as Middlesex County Cricket Club's

new long-term principal sponsor

Brooks Macdonald Group plc (the "Group"), the AIM listed integrated wealth management group, is pleased to announce that it has signed a long-term sponsorship agreement with Middlesex County Cricket Club.

The Group has signed an initial three year agreement that includes branding of the players' kit and at the county's home grounds:

·      Brooks Macdonald branding will be featured on the front, back and collars of the Middlesex CCC players' shirts in all three forms of the game (the Friends Life t20, the Clydesdale Bank 40 and the LV= County Championship).

·      Brooks Macdonald branding will be featured on marketing materials, the MCCC website and in-ground advertising (for county and international fixtures) at the Home of Cricket, Lord's, as well as at other home "outgrounds" such as Richmond and Uxbridge.

·      Brooks Macdonald sponsorship will also include a wide range of corporate hospitality opportunities.

The arrival of Brooks Macdonald as the club's main sponsor coincides with Middlesex's return to the top flight of the domestic first class structure, as the Lord's based side signed off a brilliant 2011 season with promotion into Division One of the LV= County Championship on the final day of last season.  The current Middlesex team includes England captain, Andrew Strauss, and other England stars Steven Finn and Eoin Morgan.

Chris Macdonald, Chief Executive of Brooks Macdonald, commented:

"Following the significant growth of the Group over recent years, we have been exploring options to further increase the visibility of the Brooks Macdonald brand amongst our target client base. As a firm, we are passionate about wealth management and sport and having considered a number of opportunities, the sponsorship of Middlesex was by far the strongest fit as well as a logical expansion of our long running sponsorship of schools' sports teams and other amateur sports clubs, which number in excess of 50 since our launch.  These will continue.

"The three year deal is an important milestone in our marketing activity and we are very excited to be working closely with the Middlesex team."

Vinny Codrington, Chief Executive of Middlesex County Cricket Club, added:

"We are absolutely delighted to have signed this agreement with Brooks Macdonald which will see our organisations working closely together over the coming years. Given the current tough economic conditions, we are thrilled that Brooks Macdonald has committed their future to Middlesex County Cricket Club for the next three years, ensuring that we can move forward and pursue our vision and goals with confidence.

"We would like to formally welcome Brooks Macdonald into the Middlesex family and are looking forward to working with them over the years ahead to forge an enjoyable and successful partnership."
