Directorate change

Brooks Macdonald Group plc ("The Company", "Brooks Macdonald") announces that Ben Thorpe, Chief Financial Officer, has notified the Company of his intention to leave the business in due course. He will leave the Board with immediate effect but will continue in the role of Chief Financial Officer while a replacement is sought and an orderly handover takes place. A search is under way for a suitable candidate who will be able to contribute to the next phase of Brooks Macdonald's ambitious growth plans.

Lynsey Cross, Chief Operating Officer, will also be leaving the Company in the coming months. Lynsey led the successful re-platforming of the business to SS&C Technologies Holdings inc., which has been a major milestone in the Group's digital transformation project. Lynsey will continue to work with the Company to oversee the realisation of benefits from the migration but will leave the Board with immediate effect. With much of the operation of the business now outsourced, the Directors do not currently intend to appoint a Board-level replacement.

Commenting on the Board changes, Alan Carruthers, Chairman of Brooks Macdonald, said: "I would like to thank both Ben and Lynsey for their contributions during a period of significant change for the business. They leave BM in a much improved position and well placed for further growth."
