BROOKS MACDONALD GROUP PLC ('the Company')

It is the Company's intention to announce its discretionary funds under
management on a quarterly basis. As at 30 June 2005 funds under management were
£411.9m.

It is anticipated that the results for the year ended 30 June 2005 will be
published on the 16 September 2005.
