New Chief Executive joins today

Further to the announcement on 20 October 2016, Brooks Macdonald is pleased to confirm that Caroline Connellan has today joined as its new Chief Executive.

As previously announced, the Group also confirms that Chris Macdonald has become Deputy Chairman with effect from today, subject to regulatory approval.

Caroline Connellan, Chief Executive of Brooks Macdonald, commented:

Biographical notes

Caroline Connellan has more than 20 years' experience in financial services. Before joining Brooks Macdonald she was Head of UK Premier and Wealth at HSBC where she led the transformation of the UK Wealth business.  Prior to this she held a number of senior corporate roles, including Group Strategy Director at Standard Life, and had extensive experience in the wealth and asset management sector as a consultant at McKinsey.  Caroline started her career as a Fund Manager with Newton Investment Management in London.
