Board Appointment
N Brown Group plc, the Manchester-based direct catalogue home shopping company,
announces the appointment of Lord Stone of Blackheath as a Non-Executive
Director. Lord Stone will join the Group's main board with immediate effect.
Lord Stone has considerable retail experience having joined Marks & Spencer plc
as a trainee in 1966 and working in the Company's merchandise division until he
retired as joint Managing Director of the Company in 1999.
Sir David Alliance, N Brown Group's Chairman, said;
'We are extremely pleased that Lord Stone has agreed to join the Board. His
considerable retail expertise and experience will be a tremendous asset to the
Board and the Group.'
