N Brown Group plc ('the Company') has been informed that on the 11th October 
2006 the Trustees of the Company's No. 2 Employee Share Ownership Trust ('the 
No 2 EBT') sold 140,000 ordinary 10p shares in the Company at a price of £2.58 
per share. The class of discretionary beneficiaries for whom the No. 2 EBT holds 
such shares consists of employees of companies within the N Brown Group, 
including the following executive directors of the Company: Mr Alan White and Mr 
Dean Moore. Each such executive director is accordingly technically deemed to be 
beneficially interested in all of such shares held by the No. 2 EBT, now 
amounting to 100,763 Shares.
