Notification of major interests in shares

N Brown Group plc ('the Company')

The Company was advised today that FMR Corp. and its direct and indirect 
subsidiaries Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its direct and indirect 
subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial holders had increased the number of 
ordinary shares held by them in the Company to 33,682,794 ordinary shares of 
10p each. This shareholding represents 111.51% of the current issued share 
capital of the Company.
