On 2 April 2007, the Company was informed by Standard Life Investments Ltd of a 
re-disclosure of notifiable interest, pursuant to paragraph 5.1.2. of the 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules, of 15,527,825 ordinary shares of 11 1/19 
pence each, representing 5.8% of the issued share capital of 267,724,741 
ordinary shares of 11 1/19 pence each in N Brown Group PLC.
