             Announcement of Strategic Partnership in E-fulfilment
                            with AHL Services, Inc

N Brown Group plc ('N Brown'), the Manchester based direct home shopping
company, announces that it has formed a marketing partnership with the US
company AHL Services, Inc, to enhance and develop the reach of 'Zendor.com',
the e-commerce fulfilment service launched by N Brown earlier this year.

Under the terms of the agreement, Zendor.com will handle fulfilment services
within the United Kingdom for the customers of AHL and its services will be
marketed as part of AHL's growing multinational 'e-fulfillment.com' internet
services offering.

AHL is one of the leading multinational business service providers from its
base in Atlanta, Georgia.  It provides a variety of outsourced business
services to major international companies incorporating staffing, logistics,
warehousing and broadbased fulfilment.  AHL launched e-fulfillment.com as a
vehicle to bring together its assorted outsourcing services to provide an end-
to-end fulfilment service for the e-commerce market.

N Brown launched Zendor.com at its interim results on 7 October 1999.  The
service offers end-to-end fulfilment, providing everything from assistance
with product sourcing; warehousing; provision of call centre services,
customer care and accounts support; web site preparation; to home delivery,
collection and processing of returns.
