The issuer has requested that the following replaces the announcement released
on 27 September 1999 at 15:59 under RNS No 1080u.

The Company announces that on 27 September 1999 it re-purchased 25,000 ordinary
25p shares (representing 0.04% of the issued class of capital) and not 250,000
ordinary 25p shares as previously announced.

Please note that the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to 63,127,000
(and not 62,902,000 as previously announced) when settled on 4 October 1999.
