The Brunner Investment Trust PLC announces that on 14 October 2009 it purchased 100,000 Ordinary 25p Shares (representing 0.21% of the issued class of capital) at 367.50p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares is due on 19 October 2009 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to 46,533,305 Ordinary Shares.
