The Brunner Investment Trust PLC announces that on 4 November 2008 it purchased 21,500 Ordinary 25p Shares (representing 0.04% of the issued class of capital) at 303.99p per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 21,500 Ordinary Shares is due on 7 November 2008 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to 47,115,015 Ordinary Shares.
