BT ACQUIRES CW BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IN SPAIN

BT has completed the acquisition of CW Business Solutions S.L.U., a subsidiary 
of Cable & Wireless plc., for 11.6 million Euros in cash, including the
company's cash balance of 5.6 million Euros. The company provides major
corporate and public sector organisations with networked IT services.
