PRELIMINARY RESULTS - YEAR TO MARCH 31, 2003

BT released it's Preliminary Results on 22 May 2003 at 07.00 under RNS 4149L:

In the section showing non-financial statistics, for BT Retail, the 31 December
2002 comparative figures were given instead of the 31 March 2002 comparative
figures. The numbers shown in the original press release and the figures for 31
March 2002 are shown below. This correction has no affect on any of the 2003
details or any of the financial information.
