At the Annual General Meeting of British
Telecommunications plc which was held on 12 July 2000, a
poll was held on the following resolutions:


RESOLUTION 5

THAT Lord Marshall of Knightsbridge be re-elected as a
director.

The result of the poll is as follows:

THAT June de Moller be elected as a director.
