Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority (FSA) and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing totaling 263,000 ordinary shares of 32 1/7 pence each in the capital of Bunzl plc to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the official list. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.

Shares from this application will be issued to satisfy options and awards granted under the 1994 Executive Share Option Scheme, the 2001 Sharesave Scheme, the International Sharesave Plan, the Irish Sharesave Plan and the 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan.
