Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing Group, today announces that Peter Johnson has been appointed as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.  Mr Johnson, Bunzl's senior independent director, has been a non-executive director since 2006 and replaces Charles Banks who retired from the Board at the conclusion of today's Annual General Meeting. 

Eugenia Ulasewicz, who was appointed as a non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2011, has also today been appointed as a member of the Remuneration, Audit and Nomination Committees of the Board.
