Announcement of cancellation of treasury shares

Bunzl plc (the "Company") today announces the cancellation of its treasury shares in accordance with the provisions of section 729 of the Companies Act 2006.

The Company discloses the following details in relation to such cancellation pursuant to Listing Rule 12.6.4:

Type of shares cancelled:                            ordinary shares of 32 1/7 pence each

Number of shares cancelled:                     23,325,000
