             BUNZL COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF FIBERTEC IN SWITZERLAND

Further to the announcement made on 12 September 2003, Bunzl plc today announces
that it has completed the acquisition of the business of Fibertec from
Baumgartner following approval of the transaction by the relevant competition
authorities.
