BUNZL APPOINTS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing Group, today announces that it has appointed Eugenia Ulasewicz as a non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2011.
Based in New York, Ms Ulasewicz has been President of Burberry, Americas, one of four global regions of Burberry Group plc which includes both North and South America, since 1998 and previously held a number of senior positions with Saks Fifth Avenue, Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdales.
Commenting on the appointment, Philip Rogerson, Chairman of Bunzl, said:
"I am very pleased that Eugenia has agreed to join the Board. She has a wealth of experience in the retail sector and has overseen the recent growth and successful development of Burberry, Americas which includes both wholesale and retail businesses and an extensive distribution network. Her experience will be of great value as Bunzl continues to expand."
