BOARD CHANGES

Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing Group, today announces the appointment of Jean-Charles Pauze and Meinie Oldersma as non-executive directors and the retirement of Ulrich Wolters from the Board.

Jean-Charles Pauze will join the Board with effect from 1 January 2013.  Based in Paris, Mr Pauze is presently Chairman of Europcar and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CFAO Group and was Chairman and Chief Executive of Rexel from 2002 until earlier this year.  Prior to that he held a number of senior positions with PPR Group, Strafor Facom Group and Alfa Laval Group in France and Germany.

Meinie Oldersma will join the Board with effect from 1 April 2013.  A Dutch national, Mr Oldersma is currently based in the UK and has been Chief Executive of 20:20 Mobile Group since 2008 and previously held a variety of senior positions with Ingram Micro, most recently as Chief Executive and President of their China Group and Managing Director of their business in Northern Europe.

Ulrich Wolters, who has served as a non-executive director since 2004, will be retiring after the Company's Annual General Meeting in April 2013.

Commenting on the changes, Philip Rogerson, Chairman of Bunzl, said:

I would also like to thank Ulrich for his significant contribution to Bunzl over many years. He will leave the Board next year with our gratitude and best wishes for the future".
