Burberry Group plc ('the Company')

The Company has made a block listing application to the UK Listing Authority and
the London Stock Exchange for 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each in the
Company to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange upon issuance.

These shares will be issued pursuant to the Burberry Senior Executive IPO Share
Option Scheme.
