Burberry Group plc ('the Company')

The Company has made a block listing application to the UK Listing Authority and
the London Stock Exchange for a total of 7,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each
in the Company ('Shares') to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on
the London Stock Exchange upon issuance.

4,000,000 of these Shares shall be issued pursuant to the Burberry Senior
Executive Restricted Share Plan and 3,000,000 Shares shall be issued pursuant to
the Burberry Senior Executive IPO Share Option Scheme.
