Burberry Group plc - Director's Declaration


In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Burberry Group plc (the 'Company')
announces that Mr Philip Bowman, Senior Independent Director, has informed the
Company that, on 23 April 2007, he ceased to be Chief Executive of Scottish
Power plc following the acquisition of that company by Iberdrola SA.


There have been no other changes to the information set out in Listing Rule
9.6.13R (2) to 9.6.13R (6) in respect of Mr Bowman.
