Burberry Group plc (the 'Company') has today received notification from David
Tyler, a director of the Company, that on 12 January 2006 David Tyler's wife,
Sharon Tyler, transferred in London 48,664 ordinary shares to David Tyler for no
consideration.



This notification is made in fulfilment of the Company's obligations under
Disclosure Rule 3.1.4.
