Pursuant to DTR 3.1.4, Burberry Group plc (the "Company") received notice of changes to the Shareholding of the following Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Duties ("PDMRs"):

On Tuesday, 1 December 2009, Stacey Cartwright, a director of the Company received 2,667 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each in the Company ("Shares") at an exercise price of 350.5p per Share, following the exercise of options granted under the Burberry Save As You Earn Scheme. 

Following these transactions Stacey Cartwright holds 312,510 Shares and options and awards over 1,045,642 Shares.

The Company received notification of the above changes in Stacey Cartwright's interest in Shares in the Company on Tuesday, 1 December 2009.
