Pursuant to DTR 3.1.4, Burberry Group plc (the "Company") received notice of changes to the Shareholding of the following Persons Discharging Managerial Reponsibilities ("PDMR"):

On Monday 6 December 2010, Andrew Maag, a PDMR of the Company:

(i)         received 30,500 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each in the Company ("Shares") at nil cost, following the exercise of an option granted under the Burberry Exceptional Performance Share Plan.  Subsequently, 30,500 Shares were sold in London at a price of 1104p per Share.

(ii)        sold 71,294 Shares in London at a price of 1100p per Share.

The Company received notification of the above changes in Andrew Maag's interest in Shares in the Company on Monday 6 December 2010.
