Burberry Group plc - Transaction in Own Shares

Pursuant to LR12.6.4, Burberry Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 11 January 2012 it transferred 47,188 Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each ("Shares") from treasury at nil consideration, in connection with its employee share plans.

Following this transfer, the Company holds 30,027 Shares in treasury and has a total of 438,615,102 Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
